First of all, I find there is something ethereal about Tilda Swinton, something other worldly but exquisite and this frag seems to capture that.
As far as my nose has taken me thus far, I really have not encountered anything Like This in a perfume before. I’m grasping for comparisons and it’s not pumpkin pie. It truly stands on its own and was instant love and an instant favorite.
My purfumista friend has a bottle and let me sniff it and I knew immediately I had to have it but it’s not easy to find in stores or in 100ml so I ordered it directly from ELDO website after being haunted by the memory of that scent for a few months. Knocked my signature frag right out of its spot.
Its such a satisfying comfortable smell, like in an almost gourmond way. To me it FEELS like hot cocoa by a warm fire on a cold night. Cuddling a sleepy puppy. Coming home after being away too long. Peace of mind. Content. Maybe even maternal.
I get mostly immortelle and sweetened ginger but also a very present raw pumpkin note. I know this is more appropriate for fall but I want to wear it all the time, especially to bed. I can’t imagine anyone NOT liking this frag honestly. It’s really something special and brings out an emotional nostalgia everytime I put it on.
It’s a rather strong frag on opening. I only use 1 spray for day and 2 max for evening. Good sillage. Excellent longetivity at 12 hours and I could still smell it on my sweater after 5 days or so.
If I had to choose a desert island frag, this would be it. If I had to pick just one scent I wanted my grand children to remember me by after I passed away, this would be the scent. It’s that special. Eternally beautiful, emotionally moving, and completely amazing. ❤

“Like This” from Rumi
If anyone asks you
how the perfect satisfaction
of all our sexual wanting
will look, lift your face
When someone mentions the gracefulness
of the nightsky, climb up on the roof
and dance and say,
If anyone wants to know what “spirit” is,
or what “God’s fragrance” means,
lean your head toward him or her.
Keep your face there close.
When someone quotes the old poetic image
about clouds gradually uncovering the moon,
slowly loosen knot by knot the strings
of your robe.
If anyone wonders how Jesus raised the dead,
don’t try to explain the miracle.
Kiss me on the lips.
Like this. Like this.
When someone asks what it means
to “die for love,” point
If someone asks how tall I am, frown
and measure with your fingers the space
between the creases on your forehead.
The soul sometimes leaves the body, then returns.
When someone doesn’t believe that,
walk back into my house.
When lovers moan,
they’re telling our story.
I am a sky where spirits live.
Stare into this deepening blue,
while the breeze says a secret.
When someone asks what there is to do,
light the candle in his hand.
How did Joseph’s scent come to Jacob?
How did Jacob’s sight return?
A little wind cleans the eyes.
When Shams comes back from Tabriz,
he’ll put just his head around the edge
of the door to surprise us
